Koalas photographed close to proposed alignment

One of the local community have provided these wonderful photographs taken of Koalas just on the door step where Powerlink are proposing to construct the 275kV transmission lines. These photos were taken in December 2008.

You can see on the following Google Map how close these koalas are to the proposed transmission line. (click on the map to enlarge)

Surely the State Government want to protect prime koala habitat rather than destroy it with high powered voltage lines.
