PAGE is conducting a workshop to help people respond effectively to the Powerlink draft EIS for their proposed transmission line and substation through Eerwah Vale, that is expected in the next few weeks. The EIS will be a large document, that can be unwieldy, intimidating and complex. The workshop will aim to help you to:

  • Understand the EIS process and the background to this process
  • Provide a template for you to complete your responses
  • Give ideas for you to make a submission on
  • Point out the types of things you should look for in the EIS
  • What the EIS says
  • More importantly what it doesn’t say
  • Give you an opportunity to ask specific questions
  • Explain the process from this point forward

The workshop is expected to run for 2 hours and will be presented by PAGE and Adam Presnell, B.Env.Sc, Director of ATP Environmental Consultants.
