Action groups such as KADAG, RAID@Bridges, and PAGE who were very active in the council election period will be encouraged by the election of their preferred mayor and councillor candidates. It is expected there will now be a flurry of activity by the groups to revisit proposed developments with elected representatives who are on record for commitments to oppose or revise developments such as the proposed Kulangoor waste dump, the Powerlink project, the Bridges industrial state and the Northern Pipeline Interconnector. Watch this space!
